Temple Street Night Market

Temple Street Night Market

Originally set up to serve temple-goers, a century later Temple Street Night Market in Kowloon remains one of the liveliest places to shop in Hong Kong.

As night falls and the streets of Hong Kong are filled with the flickering buzz of neon lights, Temple Street Night Market comes to life.

While the market is open from 4 pm, it's better to go later when it's filled with animated shoppers and diners. Shops, street stalls and restaurants are open until late.

What to buy?

Among the items sold by the vendors on Temple Street you'll find cheap clothes, CDs, watches, suitcases and souvenir trinkets. If you see something that catches your eye and want to practice your haggling skills, here's the place to try and get a bargain.
